HBW 10/1000 testing of light alloy rims
  • Testing of light alloy rims
  • Test method HBW 10/1000 corresponds to load factor HBW 10
  • Manual feeding of rims
  • Fully automatic image analysis
Multiple samples with different heights
  • Mechanical matrix for testparts
  • Hardness testing on 10 steel sections
  • Test point definition and testmethod free selectable
  • Component height sensored via nose cone
  • Fully automatic test run in HV 10 (for example)
  • Diagram of all measurement results
V6 cylinder engine block
  • Testing of a 6 cylinder aluminium engine block
  • Test point on the face in HBW 5/250
  • Aluminium testing corresponds to load factor HBW 10
  • Fully automatic measurement and display of the impression
Multiple test of bedded samples
  • Micro-/ macrohardness testing on up to 6 samples 40 mm diameter (for example)
  • Test points and test rows according EN ISO 2639/ DIN EN 10328/ DIN 50190-3
  • A second camera is mounted to the tester which is used to determine the starting point and for the report
  • Movement to all 6 samples fully automatic

Testing non-fixed objects
  • Inaccessible parts of components can also be tested by removing the nose cone.
  • The example above shows Rockwell testing being carried out on a camshaft.
CHD depthmeasurement on a pinion
  • The M4 CHD system is a testing instrument designed to support the traditional laboratory testing
  • It is possible to determine the CHD value by means of a special developed measurement by EMCO-TEST within 1 minute
  • The system works with stored material curves that can be assigned to the corresponding measurement row
  • Output of surface hardness (HRC or HV), case hardness depth (0,2 - 1,6 mm) and surface decarburation of the first 300 µ

(PDF) Application example of the company "ZF"

Hardness testing on a cast part
  • Touch screen hardness tester of 3rd generation
  • Test load application via closed loop in Brinell on the cast part
  • Automatic focus with following image analysis
  • Conversion from the test results acc. EN ISO 18265

(PDF) Application example from the company "Alutec"

Hardness testing in bores
  • N6P Internal hardness tester to determine the hardness in bores
  • Measurement value display in HRC
  • Diameter between 36 - 110 mm can be tested
Spur toothed flank testing
  • Tooth flank hardnesstester for spur toothed wheels
  • Application range between modul 2 - 35
  • Measurement value display for HRC
  • Not suitable for helical gear wheels (only possible with appropriate tooth width)
  • Valve testing for ship engines
  • The test is done in HRC with 150 kg
  • A special device fix the valve
  • The dokumentation can be printed out directly from the hardnesstester...

Cylindrical work pieces
  • Cylindrical work pieces can be easily clamped and tested using the optional prism-anvils.
  • The hardness value is converted correspondingly by means of integrated diameter correction.
Inaccessible areas
  • Hardness tests can take place without clamping.
  • As seen here a Vickers test can be executed on the set toothed segment without the nose cone.
Piston spot tests
  • In this example a fully automatic evaluation in HBW 2.5/62.5 takes place.
  • The turret facilitates changeover to standardized Rockwell or Vickers testing within seconds.
Welding samples
  • Positioning via overview camera
  • The picture of the work piece eases the direct setting of the test points in the relevant test zones
  • The example shows the typical test point allocation of a welding test in basic material, heat affected zone and welding joint
  • Acc. to EN ISO 1043-1 and EN ISO 1043-2

Random sampling on plane anvil
  • Immense flexibility is offered by the broad choice of standard test methods and conversions programmed into the device, according to DIN EN 50150, EN ISO 18265 and ASTM E140-05, and which can be called up immediately.
  • Testing is conducted using a standard test anvil that can be easily removed.
Hardness testing on a paddle wheel
  • Here we see Rockwell testing being carried out on a paddle wheel which is stably positioned on the optional v-anvil.
Cylindrical work pieces
  • Built-in diameter correction allows the hardness value to be converted and adapted.
  • The optional v-anvil makes it easy to fix the position of work pieces to be tested.
Acceptance test at Bosch Hallein
  • The DuraJet DJ10 is used for the acceptance test at Bosch Hallein
  • esides the existing two M4C + turret machines the DuraJet is the best addition for fast and simple Rockwell Hardness Testing
  • Various hardened parts are tested in HRC
  • Even for beginners a simple handling is guaranteed
Hardness testing modul
  • DuraPro 200 installed in a machine for very rapid 100% tests on two different types of crankshaft for the automobile industry according to Rockwell C (HRC).
Hardness testing modul
  • DuraPro 500 integrated into a small portal system for steel plate testing. Brinell hardness testing and evaluation are fully automatic.
